Speed Team Heads to Murfreesboro for Dean Hayes Classic

MURFREESBORO, TN. - The Fisk University Track & Field teams are set to travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to compete in the Dean Hayes Classic hosted at Middle Tennessee University. Head Coach Mardy Scales, who was a standout athlete at MTSU during his college career, will return to familiar territory as he leads the Bulldogs in his second year at Fisk. This meet will give the team a valuable opportunity to test their skills against strong competition and continue their development early in the season.

Coach Scales will showcase a youthful roster, highlighted by senior men's sprinter A'Sah Glenn and junior women's middle distance runner Daisjah Ball. With only one senior and one junior among the squads, Fisk will depend on the determination and potential of its underclassmen. The athletes are eager to make their mark and gain experience as they build toward future indoor and outdoor meets.
