Lady Dawgs Finishes Regular Season at Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – After having a successful dual meet weekend last week, the Fisk University Bulldogs now have their sights set on this upcoming weekend in Colorado. This Saturday, March 14th, the Bulldogs will be competing against the Air Force Academy Falcons. Live scoring can be found in Virtius.

Lineup Outlook

The Bulldogs are heading into their last competition of the regular season! As for lineups, expect to see a comfortable flow as the team has really come into their own to finish out this impactful season.

Uneven Bars

Fisk is slated to start the dual meet on the uneven bars this weekend. Freshman Kennedi Johnson will lead the team off, followed by junior Ciniah Rosby, freshman Makia Rosado, and sophomore Aiyana Thomas. The goal is to hit every handstand and keep the energy high for the rest of the competition. Junior Sophia Pratt and freshman Hadassah Diggs will wrap up the bar rotation with anticipated consistency and confidence.

Vault

Vault is an exciting event for the Bulldogs as they just seem to get better each week. Johnson will once again lead off the lineup for her team. Diggs and Rosby will carry the middle of the lineup. To finish vault, seniors Aliyah Reed-Hammon and Allie Berkley will rely on leadership in their execution and power.

Floor Exercise

After many successes last week on the floor exercise, Fisk hopes to continue to grow and maintain that momentum. Johnson will start the floor rotation off with her beautiful routine. Reed-Hammon will follow with another powerhouse routine. Senior Liberty Mora holds the middle spot of the lineup proving her star power. Berkley and Rosby will close the floor rotation with strong, exceptional routines.

Balance Beam

To officially end the regular season for the Bulldogs, Reed-Hammon is leading off the balance beam rotation. This event has been very consistent, graceful, and strong this season. Diggs, Johnson, and Berkley will make up the middle of the lineup. Pratt and Rosby are set to anchor for the final event.
